First, we will start with a pre-session consultation during which we discuss the intended wall space for the final portrait and what format and colour palette best suits the given context. If you have a picture of the intended wall space to share with me, that will be helpful. Then we will elaborate the kind of outfit and make-up that you will wear for your portrait shooting and clarify all pending questions that you might have.

The portrait session will take place either in my studio or in the familiar environment of your home (also see FAQ concerning home sessions) and will last up to two hours.

1 to 2 weeks after the portrait session you will have a first look at the results of our work together.
Via a user-friendly online platform, you will be able to choose your favorite portraits amongst the pre-edited selection and flag the portrait for the A4 fine art print as well as your choice of image for the framed wall art.

Once the final portrait selections will have been post-processed and retouched, and the archival fine art print of the portrait of your choosing will have been produced, we will meet for a face-to-face presentation of the results. Here, you will receive the A4 fine art print, the digital files of the selected images as well as a rendering of the wall art for final approval of the suggested dimensions and the material finishing.

As soon as the wall art portrait has been finalized, your personalized work of art will be conveniently delivered to your home.

Important: A down payment of 165 € will be required to lock in the scheduled portrait session.

A down payment of 165 € is due to confirm your scheduled session. The balance of the portrait session fee is due after the portrait shooting.

A 50% down payment of the value of the wall art is due at the order, the second half is payable at the delivery of your wall art portrait.

The portraits sessions lasts up to two hours for 2 main reasons:

1) Creating an intimate and striking portrait requires a relationship of trust between us as the portrayed and the photographer; that is why we make sure to allow for ample time together.

2) We set out to create a unique piece of photographic art that suits your designated context for the final wall art. Hence, we will not work with a “one size fits all” predefined lighting setup but we will adjust and readjust the lighting setup until we obtain the desired result.

I kindly ask you to arrange any change to your scheduled portrait session at least 24 hours in advance. A later cancellation, rescheduling or a no-show will result in the loss of the down payment.

The home sessions is exactly what the name suggests: I will come to your home.
All the studio equipment is mobile, and the lighting setup is battery powered. This allows me to obtain the same results in your home as in my studio. All we will need is a cleared space of about 9m2. Usually this is obtained by simply moving the dining table a bit to the side.

Home sessions are particularly suitable for portrait sessions with elderly people or children as they will have the comforts and amenities of their home.

We set out to create a unique piece of wall art and adapt the dimensions to the designated context. The cost of the wall art varies with its dimensions and the finishing.

For your reference, a 60cm x 90 cm mounted and framed portrait will be around 490 € (VAT included).

Definitely! An individual portrait session makes for a memorable experience. You have the choice between two voucher options:

1) The BASE Portrait Package,
as described above.
