Inherent

Beauty is not meant to be understood as perfection but rather as an inner quietness and balance. It is a pure moment where the past and the future melt together and the present balances in a state of fragility before it tips again. This work is looking for those Faustian moments when the human drive to fill an inner void is paused by an inherent beauty and sensory harmony for just that brief moment.

Intuition

Intuition is all what is left when shooting with a 4’x5’ pinhole camera. Letting go of the control of a viewfinder and aperture or shutter speed dials, photography is condensed to its most powerful nature: not documenting what is looked at but unveiling what is seen.
